Took a lot of effort from a lot of folks to pull this off. Thanks to our entire LSC for supporting this plan way back in September, approving the use of the gym, and thanks to the many CPS teacher/staff, LSC, FOL volunteers and community at-large, including LSC, PTO member and CPS teachers at other schools, that all came to volunteer! What a turnout!

Our Community Vax Dose 2 Eventw was made possible by #Instavaxx & Alderman Michele Smith, Ward 43 and LaSalle Language Academy and empowered our community to receive ~1000 doses of life-saving vax!

Thank you to La Fournette Bakery for donating breakfast, and thanks to @RootsPizza Second City @thefifty50group for donating lunch to our volunteers today! We were so lucky to be fed by La Fournette, Bob's Pizza, and Jersey Mike's at our previous events!

We were well fed and partying all day dancing in the gym and the halls burning those carbs, giving us energy to keep cheering on our amazing and brave young patients making a difference trying to end this pandemic!
