Community Vaccine Event Success

Here are some behind the scenes pix from the community vax event I organized! We were one of the first schools in the city to host a community event — creating some of the earliest access to kids 5-11 vax. We counted ~600 doses for kids and adults at our family event, where so many kids said they also had FUN getting shots. Music, balloons, treasure chests, a photo booth all made possible by generous community donors — who also ensured that our volunteers were well fed for breakfast lunch and snacks over the course of two 10 hr event days! Thank you to our incredibly brilliant, creative, strategic volunteers who were the MVPs making it happen on the gym court, and thanks to Instavaxx, Ward 43 and LaSalle Language Academy for making this event possible — paving the way for many more schools to do what we did!
